Nicely done Pat.
I've been thinking about how best to encourage involvement from the gaming media, and I think perhaps May 3rd may be a good time to send out a 'press release' of sorts. I'll also have another video uploaded by then - a very basic one just highlighting a stream of tweets that different people have posted in support of the campaign. That should serve as ready evidence that this thing is taking hold with the gaming public and isn't just a couple of drunks shouting at clouds.
If you're able to help me find email addresses for appropriate website staff that would be great, as there are probably lots of popular sites that won't occur to me!

Haha... Whoever posted it on Facebook has now deleted it. I know it's embarrassing, but they should have left it and just added a note about it being fake, because now there'll be people who remember seeing it and will continue believing it's further "evidence" of Shenmue HD. Maybe I'll be the bad guy again and make a new post just to point that out...

Wow. A month later, Twitter decides to unsuspend the original @teamyu account, with a warning about future violations resulting in a perma-ban.
That account has more followers than the newer one (@teamyuneedsyou) so it's tempting to go back to using the original... but, with a strike against its name, it may be worth just sending global reminders trying to get those followers to switch over to the younger untarnished account. What do you guys reckon?
I'll have a look at GameFAQs over the weekend and see what I can do there, Pat.

There's a fun (and extremely cheap) indie game called DLC Quest that I've just played through, which takes the mickey out of games that require DLC for things that should come as standard. It's a bit of a chore to install, but worth it for some lolz.

I don't think I did, but the Tweetahon went okay - slightly bigger than the last one, which is a relief as I'd feared the loss of the original Twitter account's followers would result in less awareness and participation.
Only slightly bigger though. Word needs to spread a lot more if we're going to approach anywhere near trendworthy. That's what I've been stressing in the last few Facebook updates so hopefully a few people take the initiative between now and May 3rd.

It seems to have worked okay for you, but kept inserting a space for me! The latest on GAME is that all 333 remaining stores have been sold to OpCapita (the company that owns Comet), according to BBC News.

Some interesting maneuverings by other retailers in response to GAME's troubles: Tesco/ShopTo/Blockbuster(Does the forum have a word filter on T-E-S-C-O?)

Just ordered Bayonetta pre-owned from GAME's website for £2.98. Don't worry Sega, if you ever made Shenmue 3 I'd buy new...
