Look here about what one encylopedia says about Shenmue 1 en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shenmue A revolutionary story-based action/rpg though we all know Shenmue is in a category of its own and they tried to put it in with RPG's heh nice try |

Yeh Shenmue 1 and 2 are in there own genre, F.R.E.E
but magazines and websites (apart from shenmue websites) always try and put them into a normal category like RPG or Adventure, fools...
