Hi everyone, Whatever I do, any time of the day, before of after the Charlie quest, I CANNOT spar with Fuku-San by entering the Dojo. When I go and speak to him, he answers about the ongoing quest. What do I have to do to kick his ass every day when I wake up? (and train my throw moves, actually...) Accurate answering  like which part of the dojo to go and which button to press etc would be appreciated... thanks a lot! CG

well if you are having trouble getting a spar with him then try this:
On the very first day of the Third disc if you go to the Dojo you are guarunteed a Spar with Fuku, i know this because i kept playing that day over and over becuase i couldent be bothered carrying on with the story, i just wanted to "Live" shenmue for a while, and every morning i would spar with Fuku.
Just make sure that if you go to the Harbour that you avoid doing what your sposed to which is getting a Job.

Yes, if you keep sparring with Fuku-san then you will get your skills mastered for the 70 man battle and it will be more fun. Also, when you load your save from there to the Shenmue II port then you will have the skills mastered right from the start. Its too bad I didn't get Shenmue II for dreamcast

Sparring with Fuku San isn't that great, I usually let him get a few moves in before wiping him out.

I like to get behind him , then use darkside hazuki on him or other throws.

I like using that stab armour move that the old guy teaches you in the park, Fuku San always goes, "Wow!, where did you learn that!?" lmfao
