I fucking love the Intro scene where Ryo's Father is murdered. it blew me away the first time i watched it. Its like the graphics in that scene are extra good to impress you when first playing it.

It will ALWAYS be the Shenmue intro movie for me, where Ryo's father dies. It is just amazing and so dramatic, great music, direction etc. I doubt any other scene in the series will beat it...maybe the Ryo v.s. Lan Di fight hopefully..if done right. I was going to vote for the Ryo/Nozomi motorbike scene, that was just so emotional and well done, but you HAD to include the intro into the choices didn't you  |

it has to be the first scene, coz thats what starts the whole game, and after too many hours of playing games with inferior graphics (tomb raider) this sequence is just amazing, plus did i mention WOW!

I find that after playing Vice City or GTA III that first scene in shenmue looks fucking amazing. |

i have yet to play a game that has equalled graphics on a cut scene, except shenmue 2!

Of course i like the opening scene, but i do also like the ending scene where Ryo's on the boat, and then the voice starts going, And thus the saga begins.......

Yep, got to be the introduction to Shenmue I where Lan Di kills Iwao, mostly because that is where the Saga begins.
