Wow! I cant believe that i still sometimes get new things in Shenmue when i play through it.
I was just playing Shenmue a few minutes ago before i came on my pc (i play my dreamcast on my pc monitor ). i was on the 70 man battle, i beat the shit out of the mad angels and then got the usual "thankyou" cutscene with guizhang then after that it went into a cutscene at ryo's house, you see ryo in his bedroom sitting on his bed, fuku-san comes in and says "ive been waiting for you" and ryo says "hey fuku-san whats up" then fuku-san gives ryo that picture of his father when he was young (the black and white one) and ryo says "its father when he was young" ,"wherd u get this?" fuku says "i found it in the basement" and ryo says "who's the man he is with" fuku replys " i have no idea" then fuku san go's out the room and they say goodnight.
it instantly struck me that i got this cutscene because i never bothered geting the picture in the basement (i couldent be arsed looking around). and the game odviously has this cutscene if you dont get the picture, that means it must be important that ryo gets that picture, it must have some importance somewhere else in teh shenmue saga.
I had never got this scene before because i usually always have a good look through the basment but this time i couldent be arsed
anyone else ever get this scene?
