I got it for Christmas too, I was really looking forward to it. I bought my Dreamcast for RECVX because it was exclusive at the time, but when I heard about Shenmue and got the rolling demo I was just amazed. The music was outstanding, which is why I bought the OST after I sold the console.
Yep, I sold the console to get some money, but straight after this Christmas, I'll buy a second hand console and the game. It's just to good a game, a classic, to not keeo. It probably won't be on any other console again, at least not the original. Let's face it, the original is probably the best. I've heard quite a few say that. That's why I've kept my Snes and Mario Allstars! ;D

Thanks JoePesci! lol! No memory card. That happened with me for Die Hard Trilogy when I first got my PSX. Trying to do the Nakatomi Plaza platformer levels with no memory card is suicide, there were like 40 odd levels I think (true, most of them looked the same, but it was a great game at the time, that and the car windscreens that wipe the blood away lol) The Dreamcast memory cards, VMU, were SO cool. They were like mini-tamagotchi's with Sonic, (though I never bothered playing them for long), but for RECVX hey were the best, they displayed your health pulse rate! SO COOL!

Same with me Patrick, I didn't know you needed a memory card until you got to the second disk. I had the game for about 4 weeks then

I tried to leave it on for a couple of days so I could get a memory card but I didnt want to break it so I shut it off and I was upset. The memory card cost 24.99 when I got it
