The Nike Sock Dart White Cheapest has cooled off considerably since its huge run earlier this year, but it looks like things will be heating up again very soon.Previewed here are two Sock Dart colorways slated for 2016. If they look familiar, it's because the black colorway is reminiscent of one of the fragment design collaborations, while the royal blue looks a lot like the pair that dropped in this year's "Independence Day" pack. The differences are minimal, but we think most 'heads will just be glad to know they're getting another chance at this futuristic silhouette.Blocked with simple yet striking tonal uppers and solid white midsoles, this lineup includes grey, navy blue, and red offerings for the futuristic runner. These aren't the only Sock Darts on tap for 2016, either, as we'll see at least a few more speckled midsole iterations in royal and black.
As the first shoe crafted with computerized knitting technology, some might say that the Nike Sock Dart Black Discount was ahead of its time when it was released in 2004. After all, this is the shoe considered to be the forerunner to Flyknit technology. Now, Nike Lab is partnering up with Japanese designer Hiroshi Fujiwara and his Fragment imprint to bring a modern reimagining to the innovative sneaker. The Nike Sock Dart by Fragment takes the laceless shoe and its woven upper and adds a transparent silicone lockdown strap where the laces are supposed to be."The first time I saw the Sock Dart—it wasn't even a shoe," Fujiwara said. "Tinker showed me a knit, like a sock, and explained they were going to put an outsole on it.”
After an early preview last December, official images of the Nike Sock Dart Grey for Sale "Total Crimson" have surfaced. This colorway is reminiscent of the "Infrared" Sock Darts that dropped through NikeLab last year, but this new pair has a noticeable orange tinge to it. With a bright red stretch mesh upper and speckled midsole, these are also quite close to one of 2004's O.G. colorways. Dipped in a tonal royal blue, these Sock Darts were recently spotted on Instagram with little info provided. From what we can see, though, these won't be a fragment design collab, but that doesn't necessarily mean they'll be any easier to cop. Although we don't have any release details yet for these royal Sock Darts, it's probably a safe bet that they'll arrive by the end of the summer.
This weekend is packed with notable sneaker releases, with the overseas drop of the Nike Sock Dart Lowest Price "Independence Day" pack near the front of the pack. Apparently, some sneakerheads were a little too excited for the release and caused a well-known boutique to cancel all of its orders completely.290 SQM — which is famous for being one of the first shops to offer NikeiD product in-store and has locations in Zurich, Istanbul, and Amsterdam — was ravaged by bots attempting to check out with the patriotic Sock Dart pack. According to an e-mail it sent out, 290 SQM's Istanbul site "Crashed due to a bot attack," causing the boutique to cancel and refund everyone's order.
After a few previews to close out 2015, the aNike Sock Dart on Sale has officially arrived in "Gym Red."These are perfect for sneakerheads who missed out on last summer's "Independence Day" collection, or those who prefer a little contrast to break up the all-red look. They're built with a "Gym Red" mesh upper, cushioned with a white midsole, and support by a transparent forefoot strap. If all goes as planned, this "Gym Red" make up will soon be joined by grey and navy blue pairs with similar color blocking. This make up is based around a navy blue stretch mesh upper which actually looks like more of a royal blue depending on the lighting. They're supported by a transparent strap across the midfoot and cushioned with a full-length lightweight Phylon midsole.
