I heard Pat got in trouble with the police on his way to an Elvis costume party. He was driving so fast in his vintage pink American car that his poor passenger suffered a heart attack. They're calling it a cadillac arrest.

Oh imagine the irony if it was heart issues! Lol i'm only 20 still a bit young to have anything that serious, also just to clarify something i wasn't actually mocking ryudos heart problems, he was acting all high and mighty saying anyone who drinks and smokes are weak minded addicts blahblah so i said his addiction to video games was just as unhealthy and resulted in just as bad consequences as it led to heart problems, this obviously pissed him off so he banned me for "mocking his heart" for 3-4 months but then the dojo circlejerk of the time got together and said i should get a life ban for being such a bad boy ;D @beedle nerve problem, not exactly sure what it is doctors were unable to tell me @patrick thanks sorry though i don't have a twitter, will have to create one for next month

Your only 20 and your already engaged!? Fuck, way to make a lonely 40 yr old feel all the more lonely and old, gboy. At least I can still laugh at Beeds for being a poncey teen a-level politics student who tweets pocey stuff like "almost forgot to send off my student finance form". Was that tweeted to deliberately embitter me? Go ride a skateboard or something.
Seriously though, put your health first Gboy! I hope you make a swift recovery, sending out much good energy your way. Also, just a recommendation, but Tai ji is really good for getting rid of any nerve problems, it helps to smooth the nerves. So are certain types Qi Gong. If your ever interested I could recommend you a good London based teacher. There was a young man who had quite severe nerve issues who was also attending classes recently.

Out of interest, what do you study?

Well the beauty of Tai Ji is that it's all those things at the same time. It is absolutely a martial art first and foremost, but everything you do is also equally beneficial for your health on many levels. There are also more combat focused 'application' classes too, if your interested in that. I'll PM you the link to site.

You'll be fine, anyone of nearly any ability or fitness level can start. There's no kind of intensive cardio workout at all (unless perhaps you progress to the more advanced forms), if that's what your worried about. It will be demanding in other respects however, but not in the way that other more external martial arts might be. Some do still find the basic exercises and postures quite challenging at first, but you should be fine. You might not like it at all but I think it's worth a try, it is especially good for improving nerves, joints, muscle, bone density, blood circulation, the nervous system, coordination and much more. And to boot, if you stick with it long enough, you'll also learn how to crack some heads

Lol i used to do boxing and viet vo dao a few years ago so i was afraid the "warm up" sessions would be just as demanding, i have nothing against a good physical work out but after 3 years of doing barely anything i would need to prepare myself if i want to get through the session

Mainly late 19th century british and european history. I'm doing my dissertation on the boer war and how it effected peoples' views of empire.
