Although i am perfectly happy with the current look i have no problem with a new skin being created, which if it turns out good could be used as the main skin, but with the older design still being selectable if people want to use it

That was me. Pat was either full of shit when he said he tried find that broken code on the forum code, or he looked so half assed he fell off his chair when looking. A copy/find/delete was all it took. There's still quite a few issues though (no right hand row of faces, some colour issues, page jump thing being twatish etc.). Strange thing is though is that none of these issues exist with very old browsers. When I look at the forum with firefox 3.6, none of these issues exist. A new suit should help with all these annoyances though for those of us (everyone except Pat) that uses a browser that is modern and decent. But the code is gone at least so it doesnt look completely hopeless anymore.
