Everyone seems really hyped up about this, but I'm not. Sonic isn't meant to be a bit character in a Mario starring game, he's meant to have his own game sparking debates that he's greater than Mario and vice versa. I miss them days.

i never really liked the smash games and andrews right sonic is not supposed to be a side character in a mario game, i wonder if next were gonna see mario have his own side story in the next Sonic game? that would suck

Yeah, but it's a nice little fanboy dream come true to have Mario and Sonic kicking the shit out of eachother.
But I've gotta say, Virtua Fighter 5 is THE best fighting game I've ever played.

I have been waiting for a chance to take Sonic and smash his fists into (Ron Jeremy-a-like) Mario's chubby sewer crawling face, since the golden old days of the MegaDrive! And that damned Dinosuar and Ditzy Princess are next! |
