He's British and I remember him saying he was studying Japanese. Not as active in the group as he used to be, you'll have to steer him back onto the path of the righteous, mue.

Haha, I don't doubt it for a second. Which admin? PM me if you don't want to post his name publicly.
Edit - Looking at the list of admins and what little I know about some of them, I'm going to take a guess: Are his initials JT?

Yep, it's an encouraging sign. If nothing else it demonstrates that organized campaigning can be seen and acknowledged by the right people, under the right circumstances. Fingers crossed that it's enough to prompt an actual deal with Sega, but we should take nothing for granted and continue making ourselves heard on the 3rd. facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=724270177585024

I only knew it was Pat's birthday because it said so on Facebook. Though I shouldn't have BOTHERED posting about it.

It was a member of Shenmue500K, who does participate in the Tweetathon but - as you point out - missed the opportunity to promote it. Good article nonetheless. Here's the link for anyone who hasn't seen it.

Saw this and recognised your handiwork immediately mue. Very well handled as usual, and I hope the upcoming changes to the campaign give you an easier ride in future efforts (on sites that don't lock threads for no reason).

Got a new contest to announce for October's event thanks to Shenmue Stare. Details will be on the new Thunderclap page which will hopefully be ready to roll tomorrow.

Ah, so that was you! I saw your post and tried sharing it on the Team Yu page, thinking it would strike a chord with other fans, but it seemed the share button was only going to re-post my original entry, not yours.

Good stuff mue. Have you seen the photo collage from 500K?

The largest is what we have right now, by far! Edit: Oops, I misread your question and was referring to the social reach figure. For actual sign-ups, the highest is currently June's total of 178. But we're only 10 away from that right now.

I'd have it on my chin so I could pick my nose without looking too conspicuous.

I was on standby to do it, but didn't want to take up a spot if someone else would have wanted it. Better to give more people a stake in these activities than hog it for myself.

That's alright mue, I think all the spots have been refilled now anyway. Hopefully they all come through and we can get this collage completed by Christmas.

Yeah, that point is reminiscent actually of my list of reasons I often have to recite against fans trying to launch their own Kickstarter. It applies just as well here.

You're very welcome. I've been told your letter is a lower case 'e' - you've seen the examples so probably know what to do now, but any questions just ask.

Read towards the end - some of the volunteers flaked, so spots have opened up again.
