Well It's only coming out in Japan so you'll have go import, as far as the Graphics go they are basically the same as the Saturn version with a few minor improvements (smoother rendering) however they have kept some of the flaws intentionally, to retain the atmosphere of the original (Or possibly to save on budget who knows xD) As for the Wii game, It's not getting glorious reviews no, however neither did the Original. NiGHTS was one of those games that recieved 6 - 7 out of 10 in pretty much every magazine, then suddenly... for some reason, critics decided that it was some sort of unsung hero of the gaming universe. It is very much an arcade style game, allmost all score based, I think this is possibly where they went wrong on Wii by trying to "flesh" it out with cut scenes and platforming stages... As the relativley small amount of platforming in nights is clunky, having entire levels of it on Wii is a bit of a handful but other than that the flight levels are excellent

I dont go by reviews unless every gaming publication gives a game say 1/10 then i wont buy it but at the end of the day its all opinion. Check out this "opinion" of the Saturn: blogs.cnet.com/8301-13506_1-9861122-17.html Complete misinformed crap, and to prove his point i named 30 good saturn games. Some other guy named 70!

I actually base a lot of my opinions of the reviews from teletext on ITV pages 805-809. They're actually very intelligent and unbiased in their reviews, unless it's a game that gets no attention whatsoever they'll try hype it up themselves. I can base solid opinions based on their reviews even if it gets a poor score. Plus Shenmue gets mentioned a lot, especially in the letters section.

Ok well I can officially say that Nights on PS2 is simply like the Saturn version on Steroids, a must for any hardcore sega geeks

Yus, the graphics on "Brand New" mode are lovley, some nice new effects. All of the sprites have been replaced with polygonal models. The textures have been filtered and some new ones have been drawn. There is pop-up, but I think they just kept that because there was absolutley LOADS of pop-up in the Saturn game... This game is a budget release, so I'm not expecting blockbuster graphics, but it looks pretty damn nice, and certainly much nicer than the Saturn game. Although it has Saturn graphics as an option Here is a video from pootube: www.youtube.com/watch?v=HKWbLSl2QAMIt's a bit blurry but you get the idea
