I'll be damned! Looks like the ultra-unreliable Magic-box website WAS right after posting the news yesterday! Go to www.ebgames.com or www.gamestop.com and you'll find that both retailers are now selling Nokia N-gage's for $199!! This is EXACTLY the price point I was looking for before considering buying! Looks like I'll have a new game system in my possession soon!

what do the games come on anyway? carts, cd??? its a phone and a gaming system isent it? tell me more about it jacob The commercially prepared games come on the tiny stamp-sized SD memory media, what Palm devices and some digital cameras use for expansion. You can also download Java and Symbian OS applications to a secondary memory card you have installed in the unit at all times...this can be as big as 128MB (or larger I believe). It's a tri-band phone. A gaming system. A PDA. An MP3 player. And more! If you look at it strictly from the standpoint of a games machine, then you're not seeing the full potential of this device. In terms of gaming, this has roughly the equivalent of the power of a PS1 and has some degree of hardware 3D acceleration. The games are fun...I've actually used the system from a friend for a few hours and had some fun with it.

It's a pretty good deal for a cool little system. $199 is no big bank breaker...take the chance and buy the system and some games! Enjoy it!
