One day in to TGS, and sadly as expected, no word has crept out on Shenmue III. There are a couple more days to the show, so one can still hope... BUT, if no answers come from SEGA at the show this year, I think it's time we gave SEGA of Japan a mass mailing of our disappointment in the company's direction... But I won't speak of that until the shows over. I hope there are Shenmue Myspace campaign posters being put up over there by someone.

What a shame. TGS just went, and sadly we didn't hear anything about it.

Quiet is the wrong word...
Dead silent is more fitting really.

He must be feeling pretty bummed, everything he does gets canned these days

Nah, he doesn't have the balls.
Besides, the idea of making Shenmue 3 at some point is the carrot on the stick for Yu.

^ True, if he left sega he would lose any chance of making a game with the shenmue name/characters in it because i presume they are all copyrighted by sega

That's really shitty when mere publishers have the rights to characters and ideas ahead of the creators.
