My first experience with Shenmue II was for the XBOX. I couldn't be bothered to import the Euro or Japan Dreamcast versions in 2001 since MS announced that they picked the game up for release on the XBOX.
"Why not just wait" I thought!
Eventually, (this summer as a matter of fact), I did finally purchase the Euro version of Shenmue II for the DC. Pretty worthwhile since I happen to like the box and manual art a little better than the XBOX version. Although, I must say that I got spoiled playing the XBOX version since it's one disc and the slowdown issues are reduced.

i have the dreamcast version pal one question, is the xbox version graphically superior? i've never played it yeh they did upgrade the graphics but not by a huge amount, noticable though. also i prefer having english dialogue which they added into the xbox version, i hate having to read the words. |

I only have the XBox version. I don't know if I could get used to the foreign language with the DC version.

no, ur wrong the fact that the dc version is in japanese gives the whole game a foreign feel which i think is good coz ryo is a foreign country
