Help Shenmue Climb in popularity

Alimn from Shenmue Dojo had a great Idea about helping "Shenmue get to a top spot on IGN's most popular games, so I did a little research of how we can do this:


Gamestats is a collection site that gauges "buzz" on games and ranks them accordingly. They use articles, wishlists, and email alerts from many sites like: IGN, gamespy, teamxbox, ect... to make a universal list of popularity used by these sites. Currently "Shenmue [Rumored]" is 9th most popular on IGN's Xbox360 list thanks to all the people who visited their recent Shenmue article (You guys ) But the game is averaging at #217 in the xbox 360 list between all the sites combined and #919 out of 48,218 games total.

To help, all you have to do is go to IGN and log in, then go to the Shenmue [rumored] page and click the boxes to add it to your wish list and Email alerts. I beleive developers may be keeping an eye on these types of popularity gauges, and may be judging future releases on them. So lets move Shenmue up a few knotches and show Sega we want it!
