I think people need to place faith in Yu and ignore Sega, he cares about the series, they dont. It's like you've already seen the video I'm working on right now, that's spooky.  ;D That's probably because he's been camping outside your house in his 'dogging' van......which is probably more genuinely frightening than spooky  |

That PR guy mentioned Shenmue yet again. His exact words were "*cough* Shenmue *cough*", again referring to the fact that it's the most requested game. The internet is now telling me that this means it's officially confirmed.

I don't acttually know what to think regarding these remakes, if they did remake them, why would they wait a year without letting the public know they have?
But then again, two pieces of news regarding the Shenmue series (this and the french interview with Yu) in the space of a month, this does seem like more then nothing.
I just hope that this forces Sega to release them on XBLA or PSN, it's been a long time coming.

Skies of Arcadia is probably up next for the HD port treatment, but I actually still think Shenmue is coming next after that.

I cant wait for Telltale Games to pick up the Shenmue licence in 5 years. Then as a tribute to Shenmue they'll release Episode 1, then Episode 2 a year later, then wait 15 years for 3, 4 and 5.
