Fuck, man. They just need to really redo the whole series in HD. Keep all of the spirit, but make one mega game. The complaint is how expensive it is, but that was when it was way ahead of its time. It shouldn't cost nearly as much to make a game these days with the features Shenmue had.

Yu Suzuki is always very optimistic whenever it gets brought up and isn't gagged by some Sega PR drone about the series any more.
Could just be denial.
Shenmue 1 and 2 are beautiful on PC via emulator by the way.

It shouldn't cost nearly as much to make a game these days with the features Shenmue had. I've thought for years if they did that, or even just rereleased the dreamcast versions unchanged, and stuck them on XBL or PSN or whathaveyou and they'd do pretty well among those that heard about how great the game was but just never had a dreamcast at the time, not to mention all the fanboys who'd but it to help boost profits.

They really should. I have an iMac. Does someone know how I can get these games to run on my comp without having to run bootcamp and installing windows or is it impossible?

Well Yu seemed pretty optimistic about the whole idea in his latest interviews. I think we'll see a re-release of some kind this year. I just hope it does well.

The thing is that Sega aren't really up for properly porting anything from the Dreamcast.
The Dreamcast Collection on Steam are basically ports of rereleases.
Sonic Adventure, for instance, is a port of the 360 version that was a port of the old PC version.
Just sort yourself out with NullDC. Unless you're a Mac like Joe, then you deserve to be deprived of Dreamcasty goodness.

Just get yourself a cheap Dreamcast and a copy of the game. Dont forget to get a VGA box, best way to hook a DC up on a HDTV
I still have my Dreamcast and 69 games for it and havent finished my collection yet

Is that some kind of OCD thing? You have to have 69 games for your Sega consoles?
