I think this is really good news but their are some cons that go along with this: 1. Its not Shenmue III (so that means no story continuation) 2. You aren't Ryo (which sucks big donkey balls) 3. I'm not in the game
Someone please tell me why Sega has even thought of making Shenmue go online before the story is even completed. I must say this will be a really fun game though. It will be Shenmue but it won't be with Ryo. It may be a sub-par Shenmue but it will be fun nonetheless

Someone please tell me why Sega has even thought of making Shenmue go online before the story is even completed. Possibily because they need to make some money before they make anymore "F.R.E.E" shenmue games, because they cost alot of money to make. all i can think of, is they hope to make big bucks out of Shenmue Online somehow, then they will continue the series. I must say this will be a really fun game though. It will be Shenmue but it won't be with Ryo. It may be a sub-par Shenmue but it will be fun nonetheless Yeh i agree there, i think its gonna be a great game.

I'm not in the game the first two i can handle, but i wass pissed off with no. 3 i really was hoping the great joe pesci would make at least a cameo, but alas it was not to be!

Yeah Pat, I see what you mean. But still, wouldn't making an online game be more expensive. I think this is a much bigger risk than Shenmue III being made. And damn it Roadie, you're right. I should of at least got a cameo

Personally i think this is great news. Its shenmue for christs sake. it may not benefit us now but Yu knows there is a fanbase in japan and somewhat in North America. He just wants to develop a fanbase in Korea and China for some reason. i think that Yu knows what he is doing. I think we should have faith, after all he did create shenmue after all

I dident expect Shenmue 3 at TGS, i knew it wouldent be there, but in the back of my mind there was a little voice saying "pleeeaaassee be there".
Im guessing we'll have to wait until after Shenmue Online to see a Shenmue III release.
