i agree. There was a time when ryos place was good, and it was ao ongoing battle between here and there for the 2nd best shenmue site (dojo being the best of course) but now there is barely anyone posting there, and this site easily beats it to the no.2 spot, there maybe less members here, but the community is better, and there are regular posters.

Erm, first off Ryo's Place is way more active than this place, also Ryo's Place is in second place because it just looks more better and professional overall. This place is more like a place for friends, if you know what I mean.

Yeah but the thing that makes me mad is the "do you like cheese?" of course I do!

I would have to agree. It's more just a few people here who constantly post. Ryo's Place is more professional (they don't use Proboards for one thing). However, I really don't like visiting there. So techincally, Ryo's Place is number 2, but that doesn't make it second best,

I have to agree with Ren. RP is too professional. And I'm not used to it there. I don't go there much nowadays too.

PROFESSIONAL!?!?! Ryo's Place is shit. Invision boards are so easy to update and customize it isn't even funny. ACTIVE?!?! What the fuck are you talking about? Ryo's Place goews deeper into the coma everyday. Come back and tell me it is active and how many people post there then I will believe you

Check it now then, Teepo hacked the IPB forums but now we got new forums and they are more active. Kinda did us a favour

Shenmue UK was No.2 when we had a main site, dam our main site kicked ass just before it went down  

but currently ryo's place have a main site and we dont so we arnt even in the competition anymore. Ryo's place is probably No.2 to the dojo but there are some other awsome shenmue sites out there which might be better than RP, like that French one for instance, that site kicks ass, so much information, its ashame i dont understand any of it.

Braz i just checked out ryos place, the forums arnt much different than these ones, certainly havent been customized much, but they are alot better than those SHIT Invision boards. Also they are No more/No less active than these boards.

Well I've been away for like half a year and I still see posts by me that are in threads at the top of the board with like one new reply.

Also I've got loads of work to do on the main site today, we'll soon catch up.

I was thinking of setting up another top 50 Shenmue site but listsitepro.com seems to of been taken over by some crazy porn guy.

Invision Boards are good. Only thing thats bettewr are PHPBB if they are customized well (like the Dojo)

very unprofessional web design. It uses code that is IE only, making it look like absolute shit and hard to use if you have a brain and use something other than IE. Best to stick with W3 coding. also not a lot of content, but the Fan Games section is looking good, something like that was needed. But your missing Shenmue Zero

We use Namo to make the site.

Also since no one likes Shenmue Zero there is no point in putting it up, plus its better to get the new games onto the site.

Namo would probably be your problem. The only web editor that I've seen that puts relatively good HTML code is Dreamweaver. Frontpage is by far the worst.

and yes Shenmue Zero had its problems, but your putting games on there made with RPG maker, techincally Shenmue Zero was impressive, and its not like theres 100 games. I think you should include every game that exists.
